WELCOME to the International Academy of E-Business. This academic and professional organization was established in 2000 to advance research, understanding and training in electronic business, which is often referred to as e-commerce or e-business.  The Academy welcomes individuals from all walks of life, especially those in academia, business and government with interest in e- strategies, policies & practices, such as Internet or online marketing,  supply-chain management, CRM, and data mining. There are no membership dues. One can join simply bywriting to adm@iaeb.net.  Those with an expertise in e-business are  invited to serve on the Editorial Board as reviewer of papers and articles. 

To accomplish its goals, the Academy carries out numerous activities, including organizing conferences and publishing books and journals. The Academy publishes two refereed,  peer-reviewed journals : the E-BUSINESS REVIEW (ISSN 1550-7793) and the Journal of E-Business (ISSN 1542-0846).  The JEB is an online publication published periodically, usually twice annually (http://www.journalofe-business.org). The EBR is published in hard-copy, only once each year. Plans are being finalized for publication of other journals and books related to e-business.-BUSINESS REVIEW (ISSN: 1550-7793), &  the JOURNAL OF E-BUSINESS (ISSN: 1542 0846).                                                   
In collaboration with the Academy of E-Commerce, the IAE-B held its inaugural conference in San Francisco at Hyatt Regency Hotel, March 7-12, 2001. Since then many annual conferences took place.

The IAEB’s past well acclaimed annual conferences include:
1st Annual - San Francisco, Hyatt, March 2001;
2nd Annual -Orlando, Florida, Sheraton, March 2002;
3rd Annual - Melbourne, Australia, Sheraton, January 2003;
4th Annual - Atlantic City, N.J., Trump Taj, March 2004 ;
5th Annual - Hyatt Regency San Francisco, March , 2005;
6th Annual - SheratonStudioCity, Orlando, Florida, March 2006;
7th Annual -Pacific Palisades Hotel, Vancouver, Canada, April 2007
8th Annual, Sir Francis Drake Hotel, San Francisco, California, March 20-23, 2008

At each of these conferences, more than 80 research studies, written by over 125 scholars from across the world, were presented. Several peer-reviewed papers were selected for publication in the Academy's E-Business Review, the Journal of E-Business and/or the International Journal of e-Strategy Management. The Academy will hold its 9th (2009) Annual Conference in Hawaii, April 9-12, 2009. We encourage individuals to attend the conference as well as participate actively. We welcome paper or panel presentations.
